Hello Readers,
Today I wanted to share one of my new skincare loves, the Garnier Skin Active Soothing Botanical Cleansing Milk. I blogged previously about my love for the Benefit Cosmetics Skincare range and they are still some of my favourite products for smooth, silky skin but they are one of the more pricey brands on the market so I was keen to try and find a cheaper alternative.
I spotted this cleansing milk in Lloyds Pharmacy in Omni Shopping Centre and noticed that it had rose water and was designed for dry and sensitive skin, I’d read so much about the benefits of rose water, I’d even been looking into the pricey Trilogy range, and anything for dry/sensitive skin is usually perfect for my skin. I’ve never tried a cleansing milk either and I’d heard a lot of good things.
It retails at €4.59 and it’s a generously sized bottle, the milk is so hydrating and creamy and is so effective at removing makeup without having to scrub. A little goes a long way so you don’t need to use loads, you can apply directly to a cotton pad and then wipe or rub into your face with your hands and then use a cotton pad to clean it off, both are effective and leave your skin feeling so smooth.
Compared to the pricier brands this is an absolute steal and works just as well, if not better, for dry skin. I’ve also been using Hyaluronic Acid which I do credit with helping out my dry skin issues as no product I’ve ever tried has made that much difference to my skin, I posted a review on the Acid I use previously if you want to read more about that.
I’ll definitely be buying this milk again, I’m nowhere near finished the bottle and I’ve been using it every night for well over a month now. It’s hard to argue with great quality at such an unbelievable price!
Have you used this product? What’s your favourite cleansing product?
Lauren,
Xo
